I don't really have much interest in opening this can of worms. Gilly
posted on something that was already over, just because he doesn't
read IDM very often.
I wouldn't call it music snobbery at all. And no one said that artists
only have a limited time in which they are cool. But almost everyone
does start to go down hill at least sometime in their career. Pink
Floyd, Eno, Bowie, etc., etc., etc.
It's not that Aphex Twin can't do good innovative stuff he just
chooses not to.
